I experimented with a few different equipment setups for livestreaming in 2020 and 2021. I made a video trying to illustrate what I used for different sessions and made a movie in iMovie with photos and video. The soundtrack and some of the video is me in mangobananas studio improvising something kinda jazzy and catchy. It was a test of recording the audio and video from an iPad using the camera app while my studio monitor output was plugged into the iPad via a USB audio adapter (Focusrite 2i2). The same config is used for livestreams, as described in this video.

I eventually did figure out how to configure BlackHole to route Logic Pro output to Zoom mic input in 2022 -- when no one was live-streaming anymore. Click the diagram for configuration details.
